Consider the bloom off the rose.
On Oct. 25 — just more than two months after their on-camera engagement on the finale of «The Bachelorette» — Katie Thurston and Blake Moynes announced in a joint statement that they’ve called it quits.

«It is with mutual love and respect that we have decided to go our separate ways. We are so grateful for the moments we shared together and the entire journey that has unfolded this year, but we ultimately have concluded that we are not compatible as life partners, and it is the most caring choice for both of us to move forward independently,» they each wrote on Instagram. «We ask for kindness and privacy as we both navigate this transition. Both of us will forever want the best for one another and ask you to please support us in our decision.»
Split speculation had been mounting: The twosome had not been seen together in more than a month, and Katie had taken to hiding her ring finger in various social media snaps.
Katie and Blake, who starred on season 17 of «The Bachelorette,» got engaged on the season finale, which aired on Aug. 9. They later gushed about their romance.
«I couldn’t ask for a better partner. You are kind, patient, understanding, and your advocacy for the planet and animals is remarkable,» Katie wrote on Instagram in honor of Blake’s birthday in August. «I’m so lucky to call you my fiancé. My best friend. My confidant. We are just two weirdos laughing our way through life together. Cheers to the upcoming adventures!»
In his own post, Blake wrote, «You’re a rock. My rock. A mature, nurturing, supportive & loving partner who continues to impress me everyday. We have an adventure called life ahead of us and I hope you know I’ll do everything I can to help, push and encourage you to make the most of every little bit of it!»
Another one bites the dust.
