Candace Cameron Bure claps back over wedding outfit criticism

Posted on

Candace Cameron Bure vowed to defend herself and her family after online know-it-all’s criticized them over outfits they wore to a recent wedding.

Over the weekend, the «Fuller House» actress attended a wedding in Los Angeles with her husband and two of her children. In doing so, Candace posted a photo of the good-looking foursome from the joyous affair. However, many of the actress’ Instagram followers were less than thrilled at the family’s wardrobe, as Candace and her 23-year-old daughter, Natasha, wore red dresses.

«Supposed to avoid red at weddings it’s a power color steals spotlight from the bride,» one person persisted. Candace replied that there are «different style rules in Los Angeles.» Page Six also noted that several people chided Candace’s husband, Valeri Bure, and the couple’s 21-year-old son Lev for wearing dress shoes without socks, a look that’s become very popular.

«The no sock look is a no for me,» one person wrote, to which Candace replied, «thanks for letting us know!»

After a similar comment about the sans socks look, Candace said she and her family have «a different opinion» when it comes to the idea that men need to wear socks with formal attire. Another apparent fashion expert said the look was «unattractive.»

«Comments like this are unattractive,» Candace fired back. «People enjoy style in different ways. It’s not always necessary to share your opinion.»

As this was all happening in her comment’s section, one person seemed to be turned off by Candace’s social media feed in general, writing, «Your account is to [sic] perfect to be real. I love that you post nothing but happy smiley pictures but in all reality if you were to post reality and not always try and be the pillar of society, you would be a vessel of God to more ppl.»

Thoughtfully, Candace responded, «Instagram is everyone’s highlight reel. Don’t we all know that by now? I’m always honest, but let’s get real. Most people don’t want to hear about everyone’s hardships and problems.»
